I'M 20!!

That’s it… I’m no longer a teenager! Yesterday it was my 20th birthday and it’s safe to say it was a strange time to have a birthday with everything that’s going on in the world. It was still a lovely day though.

I started the day with some yoga since I woke up much earlier than planned, typical when I don’t set an alarm! Then my brother cooked American style pancakes with fruit and maple syrup for breakfast (I did request this, not gonna lie).

It was a gorgeous day with the sun shining and hardly a cloud in the sky. So my family and I headed out to the beach but it was a lot busier than expected so we ate our picnic in the car.

My favourite meal is a roast dinner and since my birthday was on a Sunday this was perfect, we had a roast dinner and then a homemade Victoria sponge cake made by my mum for dessert. I ended up having 2 slices it was so good!

Then we ended the day watching Peter Rabbit, I highly recommend this film, it was very funny.

After a fairly tough week leading up to my birthday, this was a lovely way to end it.

This year is going very quick, I can’t believe that my birthday has happened already! Although I am looking forward to what this next chapter of my life holds for me. I’m planning on doing a 20 things I learnt before my 20th birthday post, so keep an eye out for that.

Have a lovely week, and I will see you soon!
