Well, what can I say about February… this month has been full of ups and downs and just feeling like there aren’t enough hours in the day.
I have been able to see a bit more of the UK, Gloucestershire, when my family and I surprised someone very close to us for her 18th Birthday. That quick stop weekend away gave us laughter, joy, celebration and a little bit of stress with hoping the surprise would go as planned! Of course though in true British style, the weather could’ve been better. Thankfully, most of the stormy weather happened during the night and on our drive home, not during the day out we had. It is clear to say that it’s a weekend I will never forget!
Although February was a very busy month I did have a few days to relax. This past week has been my enhancement/reading week and I went home. The first few days were spent getting as much done as I could so I was able to relax a little bit later on. Also during this week, my parents and I went to the cinema to watch Emma. It is a brilliant film, that I highly recommend watching.
How could I almost forget… PANCAKE DAY! This day I had American pancakes for breakfast with fruit and maple syrup, then had classic British pancakes with lemon juice and sugar for dessert. Honestly, I know that is a lot of pancakes but it was pancake day, so how could I not!
I can’t believe that it is now March. The month Spring officially arrives, Mother’s Day celebrations happen and it’s my Birthday. It doesn’t quite seem possible that we are already in the third month of the year. Although, I am definitely ready for the nicer weather now!
